First Suzy provided the list of upcoming Club events (which can be found on our Upcoming Events page), and informed everyone about a volunteer opportunity at the local A.W.A.R.E. Therapeutic Horse Riding Center working with a deaf rider there. She also passed out blank forms to those interested in designing a t-shirt for our group, and everyone's sizes were also recorded for pricing purposes.
Club dues are being collected now, at the beginning of the semester, in an effort to avoid having to ask for money later in the semester. And lastly, we discussed our updated TRACS site and the "Date Party" being planned for the end of the semester. It was decided that committees would be formed at the next meeting to plan this and future events, as well as coordinate Public Relations and advertising for the group. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at this semester's first "Silent Social" event this Thursday, 9/23/10 at Wake the Dead Coffee House from 8pm-10pm.
